ARSM SATELLITE REMOTE SENSING RECEIVING STATION
The ground station is capable of receiving data from the following remote sensing satellites:
1-Radarsat-1 of Canada;
2-SPOT 2, 4 and 5 of France;
3-USA Terra and Aqua satellites for MODIS data;
4-Indian IPS-P4 satellite for OCM data and
5-NOAA of USA.
With its 2500 km radius footprint coverage, the facility is capable of receiving satellite data of Malaysia, ASEAN countries, southern part of China and eastern part of India. The station has been upgraded to receive data from Razaksat, the second national remote sensing satellite.
